Onda console

The console is carved from two contrasting slabs layered atop one another, one black and one white, for a dramatic visual effect that furthers the dichotomy between the fluid curves and heavy lines. The sense of mutability in Natale’s design amplifies the raw beauty in marble, creating a unique illusion of motion within solid stone.

The Onda console is a nuanced design featuring a wave-like sense of movement from multiple perspectives. Both console legs utilise an alternative interpretation of the undulated design; one side presents heavy and solid, carved from a single block of stone, while the other offers a two-dimensional view of the fluid Onda patterning. From above, the scalloped-edge design sits flushed with the mirrored bullnose top, contrasting the dark marble with light.
